Left and right arm pain can occur in the upper or lower arm. You may feel arm pain on the outside of your shoulder. Arm pain can also travel further down the arm toward the elbow. Most of the time, arm pain can be treated with rest and home care. Sometimes, however, arm pain can have more serious causes.
